White is to boring. Only thing im leaving white are the closets. Everything else has color.

We havent had the place a week yet, so im sure there are bigger problems to come lol.
House is only 10 yrs old, so the roof should be good for awhile yet.

Lots of work to be done. And the cleaning, oh.my.god.
 
A nice dark red, maybe throw it on the walls replicate a murder scene. Maybe a yellow?

Make lists danielle.. you're gonna wanna do everything at once.. but things will come.. just make a lists and prioritize.. can't do everything all at once. one thing at a time. enjoy being a new home owner..
 
I have a teal, tan, darker tan, gray and a light yellow selected for the whole house. Buying it all tomorrow to take advantage of the 11% rebate at menards.

I found a dark red that I liked I just couldn't love it enough to put it on a wall and deal with it for a long time.
I have commitment issues apparently when it comes to paint lol.

What brand of paint from Menards?? and get 1/2 nap roller covers for 9" or 3/4 for 18". Just wrap the tray with a bag if you don't finish with that color. Make sure the tray is plastic and there is enough paint to keep the roller partially wet.
 
Have you heard of faults finishes I will have to show you what I mean. In short its a 2 layer paint system it look awsome when its done. The best advise I can give you is get sample batches and paint small patches on the wall you think it would look good on. That way you dont have to go back over it the whole wall.
 
I like blue tan red and green. not a bright ugly green, not grass green, but a soft earthy green. whatever you pick D i'm sure it'll be fine :) it's just paint and you can change it at any time
 


Danielle - Get the red and do an "accent" wall with the rest of the room another color. Our living room has one maroon wall that we put the entertainment center on, and the rest is tan.

Seriously though - don't skimp on the supplies. Get good roller covers because nothing sucks more than picking fuzzies out of your wet paint on the walls, then having to go over it again because of the fingerprints...

Avoid blue...it's overdone.
