That actual piece where the key goes in. Mines got to the point to where sometimes I have to push and pull it out several times to get it to turn
 
had that on my sunbird you need to remove the tumbler and put a new one in then get a lock smith out there to re key it for your key. else you will end up with a very thin key
 
well I thought about see what a dealer charges. going to their parking lot. putting the new one in myself and then letting them come out and make the current keys work with it (cause I don't want to have to change my door keys. and I just had two new keys made for the car cause they were only 25 bucks a key
 






Do it it's rather simple. Hell I still have my ignition switch dangling on the floor from when I replaced mine... I should fix that eventually
