last race of the year for NASCAR...who will win, jimmy or brad?

hang in there Danielle, lets hope you pass that little f'er soon.

don't they do ultra sound to help break them up some? i thought i heard that somewhere. and save that thing, as they can bust it up, see what its made of, and give you meds to help keep it from happening again.

what brakes them up is called lithotripsy. they must be of a certain size for them to do that. mine was too small they said to just pass it, which was still hell. i had to pee through a container and give it to them, which would let them tell if it's a calcium stone or what kind it is. and then can try to balance the diet to keep it from happening. like with me i have a vit d deficiency. well i'm taking vit d and now im back to normal according to blood work. So though I never found out what my stone was, I assume it was a calcium stone.

Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0

i used to see guys at the bar take the strainer to the bathroom, they had to pee through it to catch the stone, should if pass while peeing. grossed me out some lol

From the time the building went down to where it's at now has been a year. I know the old building stood for 6months while waiting for the insurance money to come in. Then that was tore down and then this started going up. This building actually has a basement.

Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0

Yup that is true. It's not east of Detroit at all. It's north of Detroit and happens to be in the east side of the city. It was also called a bunch of other names in it's history. Erin Township, and Halfway. Halfway because it used to the halfway distance from Downtown Detroit to Mt.Clemens. This was back in the 1800s.

I've studied history at Wayne State, good school and it's very Detroit based, I wonder why? lol I have a lot of info on things around the area.

Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0

Against my gut, I went to see Breaking Dawn with two of my very close teachers from high school. I thought it'd be awkward but it was a great time I'm glad I went. Just had to stretch the truth on how I was doing in school, seeing as how I was one of their top performing students in class. It was a good time :) Haters gon hate but the movie was good.

Tomorrow the boo thang is scheduled to come home. Joy.. I was ecstatic but now I wonder what will even happen.

Oh and butterfingers are my new favorite candy

Just tailored a 1980's jean jacket for myself....

I'm not sure how i feel about being so good with a sewing machine <- the random thought... and now for the whole story :p

I didn't take a good before pic... but here is one that gives an idea. The top was super puffy and i had about 3 or 4 extra inches around bottom.

I brought up the sleeves, slimmed the waist and adjusted the shoulders... ignore the pajama bottoms. I just got done and its 11:30 :p

Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0

lol not a bad job for a rookie. I've never been into denim jackets but I wouldn't mind have one if it was fitted. Since I'm so skinny I can't wear regular clothes without looking like I'm wearing a hefty bag. Hence I like fitted clothing. But yeah I like it. Not so keen on the way the top of it flaps open, but you can always try different ways.
If you get good at it make me one :)
