You work at planet fitness?

Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0

yes sir. 6am-3pm panera, 4pm-8pm supercuts.

And Chris (nixon) will be so happy to hear that I did in fact negotiate my pay. It went up. Not enough, but given that I'm only there a month or two I'm not complaining.

Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0

gaaaaaaaaaaaaaay lol

I do 1-2pm to 8-9pm like everyday, weekends are differnet.

Though mornings can go by faster. But I am still doing school, so meh.

Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0

meh, 1-9, 2-9, whatevs...those shifts are nice. I can actually sleep before those shifts. And that's 6-8 hour shifts. I worked 13 today.

And I'm not saying I had the world's roughest day or anything, just saying Brodon didn't get enough sleep lol. And first day's always a beetch. :p

Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0

i dont so much "walk" her as I do, carry her outside, drop in grass, and bring her in. And the past 2 nights now, she keeps jumping out of my chair and sniffing around, and plopping down. I have to ninja myself over there, catch her, take her outside, then NOTHING. she stares at me. I'm like you stoopid betch. Go back inside, repeat.

THEN. she sleeps SO good in my lap around like midnight-1am. I take her out, she pees, we go to bed. INSTANT energy. She's all in my face. Like fvck just go to sleep.

My main problem though thus far is she's so clingy and winey. I got her out of the kennel when I got home, left her out in the bathroom while I was in the shower, she wined the ENTIRE time. You're not dying dog, damn. If you can't see my face, ITS OKAY :th_bangheadonwall:

Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0

good that you say it like that, so every one can see that owning a dog is really work for quite some time.

on the up side, if you do it right, you get every bit of your work paid back over the years, with a good dog.

your pup sounds like its got a touch of separation anxiety. if never quits yapping after you leave, its a sure thing.

Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0

Well I suppose the question is how to break her of this. And then potty training? I'm exhausting myself. We go outside non-stop, I turn my back for 1 second and bam accident...

Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0

like i said before, if you cant devote even second of your time with the pup, crate it. most wont pee where they sleep.

a can with a bunch of penny's works well, if you can shake it at the right time it startles them and cuts off their last thought lol

or the good old "NO"! said in a firm voice. and thats what pups do, piss all the time, small bladders i guess. my dog could hold it 8 to 10 hours once he was 4 months old or so.

before that we had a friend do a mid day walk. well let him in the yard, and play with him, to tire him out.

remember, a sleeping dog is a good dog, they only sleep when tired, so you need to tire it out. usually 15 to 20 minutes of straight playing will wear a pup out, but you need to tire them out like 5 times a day lol

when left with all that energy, thats when they tear up your house.

Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0

yeah. i have DEFINITELY been using "NO!" in a deep firm voice and half the time when relocated to the outdoors, she doesn't even continue peeing. it's quite frustrating.

Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0

once out side you need to be all nice and use the squeaky voice with tons of praise. it all seems dumb when you first start to do it like that, but they respond like that. ( put what ever just happened in the past and move on.) dogs totally live "in the moment".

the dog can tell if your frustrated, like if it starts in the house and continues outside, they know when your pissed.

but that high pitched happy voice usually snaps them back. you just need to act like a fruit for a while lol

Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0

K..I think you should have left the first one up. LOL

No cookies for waking up on time. You were probably nervous at the clock stalking and staring at you while you slept.

What was the first one?

And Bill, I always wake up on time....almost anyways. Today I just happened to wake up half hour early. I enjoy my sleep and have developed a bad habit of hitting snooze a few times.
