Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0
I had salmon for lunch, have beer at home and am not going home early..it's nearly 3pm, and my time to call it a day. I don't have the hammock, but might go sit in my boat. (in the garage)
way back in the day my friends father had a boat, needed a engine swap and such, we all kept busting my friends balls telling him the boats never gonna see water and all, and if he would like we could tow the boat around the block with him in it, and toss 5 gallon buckets of water at him as he was towed, so to get the whole experience.
he too used to sit in the boat all the time and dream.
i had friends who only went out on my 24 footer one time but had been on/in the boat in my driveway. they always would say man this boat is huge!, im like no its not. i take them out and 1/2 hour in they're like this boat isn't all that big is it. they finally got the trapped feeling, like we cant just climb off and go in the house look lol
sq footage is at a premium when it comes to boats. mine was 4 person max, i preferred 3 max ( my rules) rated for 6 but that left no room. for anyone or anything. mine was a fishing boat, so 2 or 3 coolers, food, poles, bait, it all adds up fast. if you get a tow able tube, buy the air pump so you can deflate it when done to save room as well. they take up major space full of air.
your boat is a 3 person boat tops. any more and the boat will feel heavy and the cramping will start fast. even with the bow ride section, riders are not allowed up there while under way, and you got the 4 seats witch really only sit 2, thats because you dont sit in the seat, you sit on top of the seat, with your feet on the cushion, trust me its better that way lol been there done that. 3 rd guy rides the cooler.
