• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0

Sorry to hear about this storm guys.

Ryan at least you can find jeans in your size :( Buckle is the only place I've found that makes 27x32

I wore my retainer last night in the first time in a month or more, I feel like I've been punched in the face, I couldn't hardly get the retainer off this morning it hurt so bad

Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0

Thanks D. I hope that is just an estimate and it will me sooner. If not, oh well. There is nothing I can do about it and b!tching doesn't help. My little boy loves the fact that he gets to spend the night at mema's and pa's so that in itself makes the situation better.

Bill, I am. Power isn't s big deal, just annoying cuz i have a desktop so its stop everything and wait for reboot. After the 3rd time, I gave up and went out to the shop.
I've just got a lot on my plate and trying to get stuff figured out. Thank god its a short work week. Although, it being in the middle is weird.

Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0

I don't mean to be a break in your sob stories... but I have to say, I really have enjoyed the sun and clear skies over the weekend. Went swimming and worked on the good ol' tan at a friends pool.

Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0

this the beginning of the place i used to work on my car, becoming the place i cant even park anymore.

my friends driveway is finally getting redone.

he had them dig up all the old filler that was under the old driveway, thats the 20 yards of dirt and rocks in the back/side of the garage, and these piles are 2 10 yard piles each they spread out and packed.

pavers are to come soon, ending my oil leaking cars parking privileges.

Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0

LOL I do feel for ya Koscoe, I have no idea what it is like to have to go through that, so I can't even imagine. The worst flooding Durant has seen since I've been born was like 3-4 feet in low water areas where it doesn't drain well. We have a out-lying hydro dam power backup in case the main Electric Co goes down, so we are hardly ever without electricity... and Durant is a low elevation area in Oklahoma, the last time we saw a tornado was before I was born. We get some hail occasionally and high winds are usually the worst.
My friends vinyl shop saw the bad side of high winds a few weeks ago, it ripped the roof off the building and flooded the area with the high-tech printers, causing major failure in one that they just bought at $150,000 (imagine a 6ft wide laser jet printer for vinyl)... but that is about the most we see.

Usually we suffer with 1-2" of snow if we see snow, and most of the time it's high humidity heat waves one after another. Truth, I was waxing the car this Feb, in preparation of Spring. It sux, really, 50 miles in any direction in the winter months and I can find snow, but its like the clouds just go "Nope, not today" and roll around the county. It could always be worse tho.
