Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0

not really sure lol i haven't chilled or been through parkwood really for probably about 4 years lol

Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0

You can still buy em, but yeah mines from back in the day. It belonged to a family member as a kid who is now in their 40s... So yeah. It's pieced together and such, but I sleep like a rock that's what counts.

But what sucks is I have a lot of trouble sleeping on a regular mattress now.

Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0

i wish i had a sleep number bed, instead i got the good old metal spring mattresses, awesome

Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0

most everyone i've talked to said waterbeds hurt their back or they couldnt get out of it im like well i sleep like a rock idk what's wrong with you

but for me, it's the lack of heat on any other mattress that causes me to stay awake. the heat i'm used to it just puts me to sleep.

Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0

Heat? Eff that. I'm one cranky muther ****er when it's hot inside. Outside I can deal with. If i'm trying to sleep it better be at the very most 72*

Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0

i agree the worst thing is trying to sleep when its 85 90 outside and muggy as **** and sticky, i cannot STAND that, i sleep better when its colder

I agree. Here's the thing. I have to run my a/c in my room and have cool air to sleep on the warm bed. Weird huh

Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0

It's going to kill me to nearly agree with Brando...

I loved my waterbed. Although in the summer, you don't need AC as much. Just lower the temp of the bed a couple of degrees and it'll wick heat off your body. Cools you right down like a boss and great sleeping.

Moved up to a Costco tempurpedic ... I sleep well in it too...but it's not like a waterbed where if you worked it hard that day and need some heat to relieve the aches and pains... yeah, it's not there.

Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0

Not usually. Friends know I like to shop there. What helps out is that I'm about a mile from Costco. Say you want some salad for the week.

Costco 3lbs salad mix $3
Grocery store 1lb salad mix $4

Gasoline (Due to CT gas taxes)
Costco 93 octane $3.85
Cheap station 93 octane $3.90-$3.95

Let's touch on the return policy. Anything, anytime...no receipt needed. Full refund which also includes shipping if you bought it online. it's like buying with an unconditional guarantee that never runs out. I've heard of people that trade up every couple years on stuff like TV's. I don't do that, but it's an amazing return policy.

Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0

so nuts, why cant we have costco in the area? oh its prolly cause the st louis population is a bunch of douchbag crack heads and they would loose money. lol

Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0

They also get in good brands, when the brand can't keep supply up with the demand. Costco buys rights to the product recipe etc. Packages it the same, puts the Kirkland (Costco brand) name on it along with the original brand name and keeps selling it.

I'm looking for a vacuum sealer because I often buy in bulk and don't want anymore freezer burn. They have a good one, reviews are mixed. I know I have no worries about buying it. It's cheaper than even Amazon/Ebay/Online searching and it's unconditionally never going to be a problem that a 1 mile drive can't fix.
