Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0

catahoula leopard dogs are nice dogs protective, kinda high energy but you gotta be the alpha dog. I like my Spud dog though, nice and easy going!

wow frankies got some ears on him lol cute pups.

i had a weimaraner for 12 years, i know how to train a strong minded dog, make em tired, you'll get what you want out of them...:D a tired dog is a good dog, all the time lol the weim i had was to damn smart for his own good, but lucky for me he was food driven and trained well, did a bunch of stupid pet tricks too, behold the power of cookies.

Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0

LOL yes power of cookies! Spud is very food driven, he will do anything for food!...Frankie not so much. With Frankie I never really had to train him honestly he was like pre-programmed or something. He knew not to use the bathroom in the house, never chewed on anything that wasn't his...but keeping him in a fence another story all together. After shorting out two electric fences climbing and digging out...setting up paint ball landmine devices we finally just gave up and let him have his run of the property (5 acres). Frankie has some radar dishes for ears! lol

Scotty - Beautiful Dog!!!!! Since you are used to dealing with a high energy dog strong minded dog you should do fine with the catalouha. A friend of mine has two, he uses them for hog hunting. As long as he is in the house with you, the dogs are fine. You try to go back into that house with out him there....you are going to wind up missing an arm!

My roomies Catahoula is an awesome dog. If I didn't get my Corgi I would get a Catahoula, love that dog. He's on the small side for that breed at 50 lbs, a year old so he won't get much bigger.

Corgis are pretty cool, she's stubborn and smart but she's coming nicely at 3.5 months. Here's my ADD lol

(That's right after I got her a month ago so she's much bigger)

Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0

look at them lil legs lol cute lil fella.

i had miniature poodles when i was kid, my mom breed them, and i grew up with a weimaraner also, all the yapping of the small dogs made me never really want one, so i got a dog with a real bark. lol

my girl has never really had any experience with small dogs, just labs and a collie, we went the dog park and we met a bunch of small dogs, she was shocked how much they acted like big dogs, i was like what did you think? they were cats?

and she really thought my dog was going to eat the small dogs, he liked to chase cats or small game. so she got scared, im like watch this...arrow, my dog walks up to a chiwawa and sniffs him and walks away, she was floored, im like he knows dogs from cats. they smell different.

im 3 years with out a dog now, its getting to be that time again, i need walks lol

my brother just picked up a new lab pup, no name yet, 7 lbs girl, jane doe lol he has 2 other labs now a female chocolate and a black female lab that is 122 lbs, shes a beast.

Cute!!!! Yeah I couldn't go that long without an animal in the house. It is nice having someone at the door that is happy to see you when you get home! My cats basically look at me like great...the maid is home now...fill my food dish meow!

Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0
