• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

when possible i start down the middle and toss it side to side, running the longest path i can, vs the short way. ( more U turns) unless the wind is blowing in your face. lol then you change the game plan again. lol

I did it long ways. Started going in circles then figured that was dumb. So I just went to one side and back and forth I went, turning the chute each time.

BINGO!

you got common sense girl.

you do know not to use your hands to clear the shoot when its running right? i see its a two stage, that will take your hand off for ya. most new blowers seem to come with a small plastic shovel to clear it if need be.

they only clog up when its wet heavy slushy snow for the most part.

I used to do our driveway like, a zamboni (sp?). Cut a path down the center, then side by side loops. Never had to make a u-turn. Always nice sweeping turns.

I only clogged it once. And yes its got a plastic fork thingy. It was really wet snow so it froze up but luckily it was in the chute part, so I was able to flip the chunks out without putting my fingers in harms way.

First I moved the truck so I could get the blower out, then came the task of starting it. I don't get along to well with pull starts but i managed to get it on the 2nd pull. Then I just had to learn how to do it. Wasn't bad after all. Jus cold, as I was not dressed for such job. All I had was the sperrys I wore to work. Luckily I had tennis shoes at his house, so I put those on but was still soaked by time I was done.

It's a nice blower. He did good on the purchase. He just got it this fall, so its only about the 3rd or 4th time its ran snow.

You did such a good job for a first timer, if I were Lee and had the below ...I'd let you use it. Yes.. I look goofy with the cab, and when the wind is blowing....I smile like no other.

Hitting the gym super early is helping me kill the workouts. I am feeling the been working out this week tiredness though.

Only coverage I had was my coat and hood that wouldn't stay up.

Kudos to you got doing gym early, I seem to do better after work. Doing cycling again tonight and then weights after. It's leg day...oh no.

I've done legs now three days in a row, not doing any weights. Just kill me cardio. The elliptical and machine of death both have moving arms.. so my arms are getting some at the same time.

I did a spin class. Like I mentioned those are strictly torture or reasonable based on instructor. I had an evil guy that loved to abuse us.

I added a fan controller to my PC i had laying around today and dusted it good the radiator was pretty dusty I need to take it off and clean it good. This also inspired me to upgrade it with tax money when that comes wooo.

My brother made Olaf from Frozen out of Styrofoam balls for my niece's Valentine's box.

He did a little shaping with a knife and added a little paint and came up with this

What a day... Had the afternoon off for maybe a little relaxation and get things done around here. Didn't happen.

It's a long story, very long actually. Long story short, I have been helping a friend get a focus ready to sell as he is flipping it. A coworker of his needed a car so you know that's who bought it. He wasn't too thrilled about selling to a coworker but went with it as all problems were disclosed. Just a trans leak. It would have got a more thorough look over but he needed the car now. We test drove it with no issues and only a drop here and there from the trans. He gets it home, next morning says it won't start and there's coolant everywhere. And of course he blaming my friend that he was set up or something. He also said he wasn't informed the trans leaked which he was caught in a lie because he bought fluid for it on the way home like he said he would after hearing it leaked. Anyway out of courtesy we tow it back. Starter is dead, and thermostat housing is plastic and cracked. He agreed to pay for the cost of the starter so that's what we did in 20° today. Thank god for torpedo heaters. It only did so much out in the wind but it makes a difference.
