Danielle. I don't remember if I shared this before, but a few years back I was on a hike at a local National Historic Site and walked up on this deer.



I was literally feet away and she just stood there staring at me.
 


Stealthlee i had that happen to me, i saw a doe laying down off the trails we have in the woods. I stopped the quad, turned it off and walked up to her laying down. I was a few feet from her, either she was frozen in fear or could care less about my presence. It was awesome.

That is awesome. They really are beautiful animals. These were 2 smaller does. Probably close to the size of the one in your picture.
 
i was swapping a card board box in the back of a kohls or something and they had one of them drainage ponds. a deer walked into the pond, started to drink from it, then as it drank it was also taking a piss. in the same water it was drinking lol one smart animal right there.
 


Just off a common mile road in the city here, there is a gas station near a pretty small areas of trees. I look over and see 3 deer just behind the gas station. It was a sight to see in the city, a few others were looking and taking pictures. This was at like 10 pm though, they were in the open grass field. I have a pic still on my pc

Sorta, haha.

They are pretty dumb untill first weekend is over, then they understand more. But I swear every year we battle either the moons cycle, the temp and wind. All those make them bed down more.
