Depending on what pulley range I settle on but probably somewhere in the 3.2-3.4 range. Since I already have a blower, fuel rail, two sets of heads, and a few other top swap parts on the shelf, I've got some more wiggle room on buying the car itself.

My target budget is under $3,000, not including the inevitable trans swap when the input shaft snaps on a 1-2 shift.

Probably going to want to budget in some suspension work...from what I remember, the LeSabres had the old person suspension in them...
 
So took a buddy to gym for leg day today...but he didn't wanna listen to any of my advice. We started with back squats and I was telling him go lighter on weight and go down to 90°. But nope...he didn't wanna look weak so he did (half assed ****ty squats) at the weight I was using which was 295. And pretty much half way did everything cause he didn't wanna look weak or listen. So instead he looked like an idiot lol

My day in a nut shell...

Broke my glasses.
Ripped my jeans at work (got the leg caught on something and ripped a nice hole in them)
Pictures that were scheduled for today, go to meeting place and the lady doesn't show. She'd scheduled us on the wrong day. So lovely.
Find out my supposedly tire rotation and oil change on Saturday...the tires didn't get rotated even though that's what I paid for. So back to the dealer I go tomorrow to get that fixed and recall work scheduled.


And I was in a really good mood this morning too. Then 9am happened and that was the end of that.
 


went a wake today for a old friend. over time we all tend to drift apart from our school friends, but this guy was always around. used to see him from time to time drive by beep wave. you know how it goes.

so by chance he was at my job and i got to talk to him for no more then 10 minutes, we both had crap to do. then 2 days later hes brain dead on life support. life's really f ed up. i was lucky to have ran into him and saw him one last time.

anyways some wakes suck, all stuffy people all quiet, hush hush BS. but this one got to a roar. saw a lot of old friends i aint seen in years, sad to have to re unite with people this way, but we all had a pretty good time. our group laughed so hard we were crying. this guy was a real character, everyone had a f ed up story or 20 or 30.
