FWIW somebody slotted their GT's airbox and (over on my how-to) said their car has a whistle now, that they like. I guess thats just the L36 war cry?

From your vid, I don't know that I'd enjoy that sound myself. My bud had a modded ECU and cone with box on his 03 GT and it made no such whistle. I wonder if you have an air leak in the new intake setup, whistling in a little unfiltered maybe?

Im probably gonna take the rubber off the TB and run it like that for like a min rev it a little see if it still makes the sound. I hope its not leaking it was Royal PITA to strech that rubber coupler over the TB.

A little oil or better, silicone, it slides easy. I'd be looking for the throttle not lining up right or something, that's louder than expected

Had any luck with them old Fords lately, NavyBlue? The 70 year old one at work is driving me insane. Its like trying to weld steel leaf, lol. And the smallest MIG wire we got is .030 so its blow-hole city. Whole bed is about ready for paint though.

Nope I've been too busy lately with work and stuff. The truck runs about 100% now. Apparently I crossed two spark plug wires. Oops lol. That was during the engine unlocking mess. I give it gas in drive and it takes off pretty good. Just gotta fix the trans fluid leak, from full it leaks 1.5 quarts and stops leaking. Always at that 1.5 quart area. The mustang still needs brakes, carb tuned, gas supply looked into, and rust repair

Well, my filter was almost off the PVC so glad I looked but nothing was ripped or looked leaky all the clamps were really tight. The one on the TB has actually formed the rubber in the barbish end of the TB so it actually went on really easy like it was made for it. And if you listen really carefully you can hear some type of knocking. Reason im not concered is because its done that for 2 years I thought it was like piston slap or something but I have no idea what that sounds like. Maybe its living on borrowed time.

Here is with the filter on

I actually just watched the vids the damn sucking sounds it really loud so you cant lmao. In person you can hear it. Maybe its the lifters or im going insane.

Yep im going insane, its okay tho, bound to happen eventually.

Hey Clay maybe I should try to take the TA to ohio and put the smack down on the Regal.

Ouch, but im not that bad. My first time ever driving stick I didnt stall, a little jerky start but I caught on fast. No but what would probably happen is me missing 3rd like I usually do. Or trying to go from 6th to 4th and get 2nd lmao.

Well we all know you're at least insane Ruszilla, esp when a slowkar is involved. Put a sticker over the noise! I like the "tweet" as the throttle cracks open :th_thumbsup-wink:

NB02, fair enough. I have been same. Sounds like you can get a pre-cat V8 fix anytime and thats always good.

S-dawg- I saw you-all's talk of fishin at the other end of the page. Reminded me of:

Well you should hear it outside the car its loud. I can blip the throttle crusing and it makes a noise and people look like wtf.

I wanna race Clays buddy matt, hes N/A with just an intake and tune if I remember running 93. I switched back to 87 after all the 93 did was rid my part throttle KR.

i used to own a 24 foot fishing boat. it went out sat and sunday. every weekend, weather permitting of course. used to do a lot of fishing.

but you know what they say, 2 best days in a boat owners life are......the day he gets it, and the day he sells it.

boat stands for: "Break out Another Thousand."

But boats are ****ing awesome. If you can afford it go ahead and throw money into that hole in the water :D

I hope to own a boat someday. Grew up going to my grandparents lake house at Lake of the Ozarks in MO and still go down there quite a bit. It's more of a giant man made river than a lake, about 93 miles long lol.

My grandpa puts the reasoning behind his small flat bottom boat being its so simple nothing can go wrong. Except when you forgot the drain plug as your halfway across the lake or when the trolling motor battery decides it doesn't want to live anymore.

oh i agree. boats are great, till you get lost in the fog low on gas with no gps lol fun day long story. bought gps next day lol

or it breaks down. dead battery's starters, props, killed out drives, electrical gremlins cause salt water and electronics dont like each other.

and its best to pay for a sea tow account or oh boy. a small 14 foot boat cost 450 to tow in from the raritan bay to sandy hook, so for the 150 member ship fee and free tows buy it.
