• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

I'm sittin on a tailgate, middle of a stargaze.......

Literally. And I'm singing to myself. It's kinda scary. Dark and I'm not familiar with my surroundings....hopefully the boogy man doesn't come get me. My singing will probably scare him off tho.
They were thinking we'd be done by midnight but now its looking more like 1-2. And I still have an hour drive home and have to be back at the office at 7am.

That story reminds me of the time I was in my "beast" Bronco II on my way to Harrisonburg, VA when it blew the ignition module in the middle of friggin no where. Literally nothing but woods for miles on either side of the road. There were all kinds of noises while I sat there just trying to figure out what to do. My "suspense level" was on high alert because I had just watched Blair Witch Project the week before. LOL

Got lucky though. Had a random guy stop and ask if I needed help. Just asked for a ride to the next town so I could call someone and he ended up taking me all the way to Harrisonburg. Wouldn't even take any money for gas.

Lol. Thankfully I was smart and took a small nap this afternoon while I was waiting so I hope I'm ok to make it till I get home. I won't be ok tomorrow morning tho...I need more sleep than that to function. I have a feeling I'll have my grumpy pants on in the morning.

And Brian. ...thank god I haven't watched a scary movie lately but I'm still freaked out. I moved inside the truck so maybe I'm safer lol.

I'm not a morning person anyways, so when I'm shorted sleep I tend to get grumpy. Who knows, I could wake up tomorrow and be chipper as ever, but lets not count on it lol

Just got home from Virginia this weekend and got slammed with work. My Uncles hanging in there, the tough SOB. In other news, I picked up a ton of random things today off of a rolled red 99 GT. I'll post up some pics later and see if anyone wants anything. I also got some new speakers for the Regal today. They'll go in tomorrow before work.

If this is how the rest of the week is gonna go...I don't wanna play anymore. Im not even tired now. But I shall try to get some shut eye.

Friday I made the mistake of going to price out trap rock. One hour later there was a full 20 tons waiting to be moved. (pile to the right)

Cut down some more stumps and finished moving a mulch pile.. load #1

Saturday afternoon it still didn't feel like this pile was getting any smaller

Pad for the shed was starting to take shape by end of day Sunday

End of day Monday.. Wooo hoo

Please..no one ask me to do anything right handed for a couple of days.

As for all the car smoking stories.. Had a 75 Chevy PU, typical cammed 350. Lots of miles on her and timing chain starts dragging in the cover, wears a hole in it. All was good with the leak of oil until you make a 60-70mph turn up an off ramp. Someone tailgating me.. no worries. Stuff it to the floor as I'm exiting.. Poooooof total cloud of smoke as the oil hit the hot exhaust.. lol

Weekend started like this......

Finally got the rest of the flower beds cleared and ready for mulch.

Ended like this...

First wash of the year. I forgot how clean this car is.

Ours was a b-day present fro our son when he was one, so we could pull him around. I quickly took advantage of what it was intended for. He hasn't been in it since lol.

Nice.. I bought that cart 11 years ago to move 4.5 yards of rock and about 350 wall block. It did a great job.
Then my dad wanted to do wall block, much more though. About 700, all in that cart
Then my buddy wanted to do block and rock, he was upwards of 1000 blocks and IDK how much rock.. cart kept taking it like a champ
Landscaper buddy had a ball on his Grizzly ATV and needed to haul big bushes/shrubs up through some stuff. He used that cart
I've hauled wood through the woods at 20mph on my atv before... we didn't have much in the cart when we stopped lol.
Hauled wood around the yard etc

Now this weekend.. it moved all that rock, plus all the trees that used to be in that area. I might have to get my buddy to spiff it up a bit. It's a great cart.

I have my eye on then l36 TBs IAC as you know, and maybe the PCM to have Dan put a tune on so I have stock and Dan tune. Auston told me the red cars engine is probably trash because of the caved oil pan, that sucks.

Ones an L36 the other is an L67 TB. And yeah we didn't want to risk dropping an engine out of a car that had been rolled into another car not knowing if it runs well. So we're scrapping in and are on the hunt for either another N/A motor or an L67 and HD trans.

Ace idk what problem you had with paint not sicking to the cover, must have been the differences in them mine went on super well. This is just 1 coat also I could get it on heavy and it wouldn't run.
