• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Good news

Ace I believe you have discovered the origin of the myth about stickers adding horsepower. Any modified vehicle appears to travel about 20% faster if you're standing on your property. Stripes, tips, tint, boom, you name it. Pine tree on the rearview might even be enough. Just having the windows down gets you on the watch list. Minivans and SUVs are exempt even when covered with soccer ballet star names, as are wrapped rolling billboards, police, and semis. These vehicles recieve a 20% reduction in percieved speed. Grand Prix drivers are subject to a special amendment of this law. If found traveling at or below the speed limit in a residential zone, the front yard citizen's duty is to throw their dog or child in front of the GP and report a suspicious predator to the local authorities.

I have tested this mythical theory repeatedly over many years and it holds true today. In a 25 MPH zone, 55 MPH in a Prius equals 22 in a purple GP. As a homeowner also of many years I have observed the conundrum from the opposite end. My solution is to live on a dead end street which I don't park in and on which I do not touch accelerators.

I still remember several years ago, I was driving my Stealth home from Pittsburgh and as I top a hill I see flashing lights of a fire truck and a police car. I stop about 1/4 mile away, not sure if I can get through and fire police wave their flashlight motioning that I can come through. I coast down the hill and as I get closer I get on the brakes so I can get through the accident scene. One fatass fireman yells at me to slow down. I did, even though I was only going like 5 mph. I get to the end of the accident scene and another fatass fireman yells, "You were told to ****ing slow down." The sad part is I was already go so slow that speed wasn't even registering on the speedometer. I stopped dead in the road and went off on the guy. My cousin who was with me is going off on the guy too. The officer on scene walks over and just asks me to move along.

Obviously if I had been driving too fast the officer would have said something to me, but he didn't. As we pulled away my cousin looks at me and just says, "It's your car dude, it just screams asshole." That was actually the second incident we had that night. LOL

I talked to my uncle the next day who is also a fireman, but wasn't on scene that night, and he laughed and said the guys who were running their mouths are guys who think they are badasses because they are with the fire department.

you better test again just to make sure

Will again in a week if it doesn't come. She feels fine. Dans gf was sick when she was so I guess she would feel diff too. But I we will test again in a little

Also my cousin just sent me a pic of his genesis speedo. At 140 he wrecked it the first day he had it. He is stupid

my uncles a volunteer fireman. been doing it for like 30 years now or longer. made chief 3 times so far, pretty sure hes a lieutenant now or some crap.

dont know what we would do without firemen. most here are pretty cool.

truth is my house would have burned to the ground if not for my uncle knowing the floor plan. he took a team right into the heart of the fire in the basement and got the fire under control. if not for him knowing the house it would have been a total loss.
