I have a few picture-heavy build and repair threads on different sites that show lots of patch work and some panel replacement. And the tools / products used. And a couple text threads about primers and basic sanding guidelines. If you would like to peruse them I can link you, or you can start at the beginning and just ask me. I certainly don't mind coaching in public, keeps me honest and makes me think twice about advice before I give it. Fire away!

Send away, I haven't researched the panel yet. Sven's dad gave me a beer in hand quick basic that these cars.. it's not structural so you peel back the carpet, pop the doors, take off the exterior rocker panel (only thing that rusts) and replace. Since that's about the only thing bad on my car, it seems silly to send it off for the rockers starting to show.
 
Today, our new GM gave me keys to a truck to use as my field work truck! Whoo.
I'll post pictures once it gets cleaned up. Its an 08 f-150. It was our old GMs truck. Its only got 127k miles on it lol. Thankfully its got options and i enjoy driving it, so that's a plus.
That means my car wont get crazy miles racked up on it.
 


I won't get to take it home all the time, just if I have to go to the field first thing or over weekends. Definitely an awesome benefit.

I have a few left but after the information i passed about the 4.7 chrysler this morning I pretty much have to have a darn good reason to post in chat lol.
