I had 15 across my hand once. Did that helping unload metal roofing off a trailer. It caught, and then broke free really quick and SLICE. That was fun.
 




So this lady comes in today and says there are wires from her sun visor that are sparking and smoking. Go out there, yeah the visor is ripped off the mount and there are two bare copper wires showing. I bump them and they start sparking. And the end of the mount is all melted and crispy.
Apparently she pulled too hard and broke the mechanism inside that holds it in different places. Somehow that also took out the wires inside and shorted them out. She saw smoke coming from the visor and freaked out and ripped it off the car lol. Then came to the shop I work at.
I disconnected the battery first, and removed the mount and pulled the wires through the tube. They were bare copper for a good 4 inches. After that it was burned and melted insulation. Right before they go into the headliner they looked okay, I just cut them there, taped and reinstalled. My boss actually said no charge for it, so she handed me $10 lol. Gm definitely has a decent amount of electrical issues over other makes. Most seem to be. Ive done plenty of electrical diagnostics on fords and Chryslers too though.
 
Never actually realized how pissed I could get...until someone smashed a brand new pack of smokes I had. And my last pack on purpose. I was about to kick em in the balls. 1 in the morning and I went out just for smokes.
