my mom has to walk 300 feet a day, i took her to the eye dr and she got a easy 600 feet in today. no exercise needed today lol

So my mom took her car in to figure out where the exhaust leak is along with get quotes for her LCAs and squeaking pulley. She can get up to like 900 bucks from the state to fix her car up and needs 3 quotes. It wont come close to touching the trans that needs replaced so on to smaller stuff.
First shop determined the water pump is leaking coolant onto the belt causing it to squeak. 350$ im still convinced the WP is fine but its just leaky elbows and the tensioner pulley is chirping.
Confirmed that the LCA bushings are shot. 375$
Said the resonator has a hole in it. 300$
They also tried to tell her the fuel pump is the reason the car starts hard when warm its an 05 Lacrosse. Guy said he sees them go bad all the time on the grand prixs and that you have to drop the tank. 600$ LOL
I told my mom I'm 98% sure its just a dirty TB as the car never has any other problems that would be "fuel pump" related. I keep forgetting to clean it.
Other shop wanted like 600 for LCAs, WP, Resonator
And another wanted 700
The Stealership wanted 1200 just for the exhaust saying they dont cut and weld and it needed everything from the manis back I lost it laughing at this point. Then 400 for the WP and 400 for the LCAs.
I'm going to look it over before she has anything done. To make sure of these things. But if they did the WP and resonator and it didn't fix the problem shouldn't it be on them to fix it? Altho only the first shop actually looked at it to diagnose she forgot to ask if they would look it so she just asked based on the first shop.

All you need is an sd downpipe do a glasspack like Scotty did and I'm working on and you can fix everything
