Yay hail...

Get to check the cars over in the morning. Too dark and still raining.

So, change of plans a bit. Selling all my W bodies, selling all the guns, all the extra ammo, all the silver, so on so forth... gonna get a down payment together for a house.

Then I'll make an H body go fast. I've thought of doing a LeSabre... what I'll probably wind up doing is buying a decent running one... then swap a built L67/HD trans into it (which if I recall correctly would require the HD passenger axle). Build the engine and trans outside the car, which will be a million times easier, and then swap it in.

Park Ave's weight a lot more than a W. H is a nice in between, Bonnies give you a billion features. Although.. PA's do have the rear seat visor option.

thoughts?

I figure the further south I go, the odds of finding a rust-free car improve dramatically.

I love everything about that car. Especially the woodgrain wheel. I wasn't aware PA's had that option, it's one of my favorites in my car. :th_thumbsup-wink:

Just drive it for a while and save(if you need to) for a turbo/built trans setup. That cars so heavy it'll take a hefty M90 build to move that PA swiftly.

I'm thinking 1.9 roller rockers, LS6 or L76 valvesprings, a new timing chain, sd headers, a big intercooler, injectors, gen v swap. Probably about a 3.25 pulley or so.

Eventually I would grenade the trans and I would get a built one... But I'd keep the 2.93 gears and just DD it for gas mileage/comfort and have a little get up and go when I feel like it. And beat on ricers of course

Sounds like a good plan. I wish I would have bought a PA instead of the GP back in the day. I just hated the interior and seats of the GP. PA is basically like driving a Caddy

Yeah sure lol. Gas cap was red too so you know its fast. He should have saved the money and touched up the stone chips that are causing rust. For being the same year that gp sure makes my rockers look good.
