So my moms car once it hits around 200 trans temp likes to have long shifts. Think I fluid change will stop it from, getting that hot?

do not do a fluid flush.

pan drop and add a shift kit and a cooler. or if its got one of them wonderful warranties drop it off and get a new tranny out of them.
 
I was gonna do pan drop then new fluid then if needed a shift kit next week. I think its got 155k on stock fluid

I just picked up ramps so next week pan is coming off or whenever I can get the kit ordered off amazon. My grandparents are paying for it unfortunately. I think it also has a vac leak and other issues. Torque shows parked the TPS at like 14% and vac at 16-18 in/hg.

We're in the same boat again Russosaurus it was warm and muggy today. And shift kit is getting closer on the do list. hut-hut!

I am just about killed, whew. Like every Friday at dark but dang I'm tired. Long day, long week it seemed like.
 
Time to figure out why I'm getting crappy gas mileage. I averaged 26 going back and forth to work about 24 miles away one way doing 50 and 55. And now its really tanking like 24 now I'm gonna try an IAC and plugs and wires. I can hardly believe the intake destroyed my MPGs or I got a batch of crap gas. What are STFT LTFT and could they show anything?

That's what I sit at too expect when in traffic it hits op temp. Idk what is in mine cause I went to the dealer and demanded a coolant flush when I saw dex cool
 
Hahaha, I also need to do that. I'm trying to figure out if I wanna get a cheapie IAC off rockauto or try to find one at a junkyard around here or 36 bucks for a acdelco new one. I hope the IAC is my problem anyway unsure on what else it could be.
