Yep. I've been outside the past couple days. Tomorrow I'm working in the house. Then the asphalt season starts for me. Michigan asphalt season is going to be a long one this year.

So my G1W-CB dash cam came with a capacitor instead of a battery. (The C in the name) It's just to save the last few seconds of a clip when power is shut off really, so it should be a good idea. Well it would completely discharge overnight, lose the date/time, and start overwriting the most recent files, and leaving super old files. On top of that it wouldn't turn on the first time power was applied to it after the capacitor discharged. So I bought a Lipo battery about the size I thought I could fit in there, and swapped it out.

Seems to work perfect now. I bet the battery life is pretty good with that big battery in there. The screen shuts off after 3 minutes to conserve power.
 
I ordered a cat-back system for the truck over a month ago through summit knowing it was a back ordered item at the time. Got an email like a week or so later saying the new ship date was early April. That date came and went with no follow up email at all even though they say they will send you one with any future issues that happen. So I email back and get a new ship date of yesturday because they got word from the vendor that new product would arrive.

I look up my order status again and now it says I won't even "maybe" get it shipped out untill June 17th, which is over 3+ months after I placed my order. I email them and get the "oh sorry, our vendor says we may not have any shipments in until mid to late june of this year". I guess I just don't understand how you can be back logged this far with exhaust systems, the only reason that comes to mind is that they make this things in china and have long long shipping periods over the oceans to save on costs.

I cancel my order and look at jegs, almost the same thing for the same cat-back. The ship date for them isn't for 2-3 weeks, meaning they have none in stock either and likely won't see any for a longer period of time than what they say online.

Last ditch effort and I find another place that claims to have 1 instock, placed my order and now I wait for tomorrow to see if I get an email saying the same things "Sorry, we actually don't have any". But I guess I'll wait and find out soon enough.

I mainly wanted this system because the price is right, confirmed by many that it sounds decent and has no drone at all. Also they have a rebate going on with it too, so I'll get $75 back on this system and that's my little rant for now.

Very cool. The internal battery on my mimi0803 is pretty much dead; will last for 30 seconds at best. I've thought about trying to replace it, but I'd most likely make a brick out of the camera, so I will leave it be for now.
 
Pretty sure my mini 0805 is no better, it displays low battery in seconds lol. Still works fine, holds a charge when it's off to keep the time I suppose. Although the time is auto set through gps. I never check it. I should make sure the other settings don't reset.

Ya, as long as it charges while driving, it has been fine. Not looking for a new camera.....yet. LOL
 
Me either. 4 is enough lol. They all still work amazingly, cheap Chinese cams still work after years. They're in my family's cars now

-Front wheel bearings
-Drivers front speed sensor
-Front rotors (upsize to 315mm EBC Slotted)
-Front calipers to 4 pot brembos
-Lower control arms with Poly bushings and Moog PS balljoints
-Brake lines to stainless steel
-Rear calipers with new ones
-Rear rotors (EBC Slotted)
-Rear subframe (new one coated to not rust)
-Rear upper control arm (new one coated to not rust)
-Rear lower control arm (stronger and adjustable)
-Rear trailing arm bushing to Poly (I have poly in there now, but they are chinese knockoffs that failed)
-Rear sway bar endlinks (Moog PS, poly filled)
-Heat tape wrap delivery pipe

Maintenance I'm doing:
-KBS seal coat and Rustoleum oil based rubber coating
-Coating the exhaust black
-Replace spark plugs
-Clean the MAF
-Replace one check valve on PCV that failed
-Replace air filter
-Replace CPS

This car is ****ing rolling on an entire new suspension down to even some of the hardware that holds it all together...wtf is wrong with me.
 
Went to the yard today. Almost got ran off the road on the way there. Seems like every time I go out, I nearly get hit. Bronze mist might as well be invisible.
 


I just spent all fking day trying to find the part number for the donut gasket for my random technologys downpipe for my TOGs. I have to say the design seems really dumb and I'm probably going to end up cutting the flange off and putting a new one on if it leaks.
