• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Post Whoring - 5.5.1 - We have a turd in the punch bowl

Speaking of rims ha ha. Would you believe this has been holding air pressure for like a month after the wreck?

Dang, thats crazy it holds air. What happened to that wheel?

Also UPS dropped off my UPS today..

Yes I've been waiting to use that, and no the UPS driver didn't find it funny.

I bet it's running on a some sort of alcohol/methanol fuel to make the flames get that high. Regular unleaded fuel wouldn't do that with a spark plug in the zoomies like that.

I was kinda thinking of a JY washer nozzle setup on isopropyl alcohol (don't burn hot). But I don't know what the hell I'm doing or if that would work. I know I don't want to do it old skool! The 69 has em pointed at the curbs so I think it would be wicked lookin especially when paired with static burnout at night. The old girl is a pre-evap car though, so it would be much safer in a FWD POS for sure.

Got 4 out of the 5 weedwackers running that have accumulated in the back of my shed over the years from garbage picks. There 5th has no compression.
Spent half the day on them, only one of the four was easy to figure out, carb needed to be cleaned. I cleaned them all but the other 3 still had issues.

Spark arrester was clogged on one causing no power and bogging, another had a big heavy aftermarket head on it that was making it act like it had no power, and the last took the longest. Almost gave up, well I pretty much did. I knew it wasn't getting enough fuel at high rpms, high speed screw didn't help, carb was clean and everything but couldn't get it to work right. I noticed a brass port that press fit in that had a valve in it, and decided to remove it, which of course means wrecking it. Drilled it out and saw a rubber valve in there that was disintegrated, left it out and reassembled the carb and took a shot in the dark. Amazingly it ran great, who knows what that valve was for. Oh well. It runs now

They all got the tanks cleaned out, fuel filters cleaned, air filters cleaned, and got tuned. 3 needed fuel lines, I bought bulk line a few years ago. Just got a chainsaw and lawnmower left. That kept me busy and I'm glad I got that done.

Both weedwackers at my uncles place are not running right, I just tried using them yesterday. The homelight sounded horrible, the engine was racing real high and bouncing around when not even touching the throttle. Very strange. Sounded really lean, mixture screws did nothing.
I'll bring these there and those back home to fix.
