Right. And there's a pretty substantial difference between "clean" and "mixed" aluminum.

Speaking of cases.... Is there any meaning to the numbers on the top of the case?
My car has a 901
Blown trans from father in laws GTP is a 911
Minivan trans is a 914

Assuming it's just a "lot" number?

Right. I know the tags are gospel for the guts. I just wondered if there were ever any changes/revisions made to the cases. (Other than the cooler fitting holes)

Is any number case more desirable than another? If so, why? Not that it really matters. I'm just curious is all.

Just got deleted from my first Facebook group. It was a group for that car meet I just went to. It Dude posted a picture of a 2000 HP GTR and a 1300 HP Civic saying the Civic was faster and posted the 1\4 times. I said in a straight line maybe, but the GTR was fully dressed and AWD, so take it down a curve. He flipped out saying I was talking **** about Civics. Name calling, Threatening me, and then he deleted me since he was an Admin. Oh well, I love Facebook haha.

Funny thing was he kept ignoring me when I asked him to show me where I talked ****. I did say something along the lines of swapping a faster engine (that was nowhere near stock) slapping a giant turbo on it, then building a cage and taking the body of another car (Civic, Del Sol, Geo Metro, even a Grand Prix) on it is fun and all, but when you start saying whatever the car's original body was is faster than another car is stupid.

Big gas tank. Guess what else I did to it? All the rear brake lines of course lol. The rear frame line is a lot easier with the tank out of the way.

You lifted that on a two post??

I hate hate lifting those on two posts, way too big and I hate the stupid body cladding. I much rather prefer to lift them on a drive on lift.

Yup, two post Rotary 10,000 lb capacity. Nothing wrong with that though, it is very big but not the heaviest vehicle I've put on it. It only goes up about half way , so I worked under it on a short rolling chair.

Yeah all that stuff can get in the way of lifting, but the rotary model we have has the stilts as part of the lifting pad, so you flip up whatever one you need, out of 3 total different heights. Makes it really quick. That one needed all 4 on the highest setting to clear the sideskirts

thats called parallel thinking. one cant always think they are the only one whos come up with the same thing as others. why we have a patent dept, so you can claim the idea as your own.

Well i was gonna do a tune up on the truck today but 7/8 of these spark plugs are junk out of the box. It looks like they dropped them or something. I would regap them but the tips are crooked. But thats what I get for not checking them before i left.
