Really weird day at the jy today. Went for trunk struts, PCM in case I do a tune, and a starter since mines sounding weird. Anyway found a starter, was a newer rebuilt so i got it. Got a PCM and paid for an airbox(<lol).
Anyway, I get to the exit, and the sign in lady asks us(my friend and I) if I wanted a better deal on the starter. I said sure? So she says wait here and I'll take care of it, you'll get it for $15 instead of $30. You got $15? I said yeah. So after a few minutes she says alright, go ahead you can leave. We check out and she pulls my friend aside and tells him OK pay me $15. He was like what? I don't owe you anything, and paid with credit and don't even have cash. Then she just says eff you and walks away. On our way to my gp, she comes out the entrance doors and yells where's my $15 dollars?! We ignore it and just keep walking. Mind you, I was the one who bought the starter, not my friend. He just bought some used coolant for a car he's flipping. So she completely messed that up. She's absolutely crazy and should be fired. But I got an awesome deal on a newer rebuilt starter. Same for the PCM.

i got a air box for 12.50 ( with pcm lol) what was the deal the crazy lady gave ya?

i was waiting for the part where she dont even work there, and the cops had to be called.

She marked the starter as a part I brought in so I didn't have to pay for it on the way out(which I didn't know at the beginning thats what she was doing) and she wanted me to pay her half the cost so she got the money.
Airbox costs $15 there, not bad

Lmao so if I'm understanding this she wanted to charge $15 for the starter in the system.. Then wanted $15 cash for herself.. Smh.. Shady shady people.

Yeah was planning on it. Waiting a few days is good so she might not know it was us. I don't want to deal with her again.

So yeah get it for free at the window and sneak her some cash so it will be cheaper for us and she gets some money out of it. Some shady stuff.

The local cat archer got busted here a week or two ago. Head shot and no kill, he deserves bustage. Ace, give em a sportin' chance, use yard darts.

Irresponsible parents are as guilty as irresponsible dog owners. Everyone has a right to go about their business in reasonable peace. Have basic human courtesy for your fellow man. The fact you can't touch offspring in the name of discipline does not make it OK to turn tail and hide at the expense of others. Its OK to expect to have one's needs met, as long as the needs of others are also being met. If your 80 YO grandma needed to nap for health reasons near that yard right then, would you want neighs to call more kids over for a screaming contest? My first reaction is that if somebody is making lots of noise that bothers me, I have the right to return the favor right now or whenever is worst for you. Have glasspacks and insomnia, will disturb. The kid issue came up in the checkout line last week and I made sure everyone heard me. You can't slap sass-mouthed mamas either, don't mean they didn't earn it. Many is the day I have had the will and ability to quiet the neighs unattended kennel of barkers bare handed, but somehow I have neither stroked out or done that. Raising a person's blood pressure is bothering, keep from it all day every day.

That is all.

I was under the hood looking at stuff. Saw it was a 97(supercharged), had 160k on the cluster, and couldn't figure out why this car might be in the junk yard. Body was nice. Then it hit me, this is a '97 in Michigan, the strut towers must be destroyed. I go to open the trunk to check, and it blew my mind lol

And yea, see that squared off piece that all rusted too? that's not factory.
