Post Whoring - 5.5.1 - We have a turd in the punch bowl

Driving to work the other day on the highway and it felt like the trans locked up, abs grabbed, or CV was binding up for a quick second. My trac off light came on and tach stopped working the rest of the way there. Got to work with no more trouble as far as drive ability goes. Got to work and shut it off. Got back in to go park after punching in and the tach worked again and the traction control was back (light was off) haven't had any other instances yet. Driven all different styles trying to replicate it and still nothing. Chalking it up as a random hiccup for now. Anyone had this before?

95 and humid with storms tomorrow. Probably gonna have to cancel the sandblasting and painting of the wheels.

crank sensor, expect more of the same to happen. if left long enough the car will stall and not start up till it feels like it. could be 5 minutes, or 5 days till it will fire up again.

Wow that's crazy. Ironic too because parts gathering has officially begun for the my transmission. BW frictions>Raybestos, right? Contacting WIT trans to look for GXP planetaries next week, too. Working 40 hours in 3 days, yay.

I'm curious as well on BW vs Raybestos, but my parts collecting is much slower than yours. lol

BTW you've got the Addco sways, right?

I wish I still had the pics of the diff destruction my brother did to a Neon he owned years ago. He said he downshifted as he was slowing coming up an off ramp and just heard BOOM chunk chunk chunk chunk chunk. The diff was literally hanging out of the casing.
 
Been working on my sister comp all weekend. Complaint was it wouldn't boot. 5 second fix was loose sata cable. So I took the time to put in a bigger power supply and graphics card. Added 2 fans and a red LED bar I had laying around. As well as replacing the stock Intel HSF with the stock HSF from my i5 with along with MX-4 thermal paste. thr i5 cooler has a copper slug in the center which is supposedly makes it marginally better. Along with a fresh install of win7.

Man what a **** afternoon. Bout 4pm got a call from my aunt in tears her brother died out of nowhere. They are saying just from being old and sorta unbalanced and other medical issues. As he was getting up from the toilet he lost his balance and fell headfirst into the tub. My aunt didnt hear from him all morning then at about 3pm her other brother and her went to his apartment and found him bent over the tub dead. Cant even imagine that image. I wasnt real close to the guy at all but its always hard watching family hurt.
 
Anybody need/want a NP263 HD transfer case? My post count isn't high enough on any of the truck forums to post in the for sale sections there...

My Windows 10 insider preview catastrophically failed last night...nothin but BSOD. lol so I guess I'm doing a reinstall...whenever I get the time.
