• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Post Whoring - 5.5.1 - We have a turd in the punch bowl

no, lol. the sensor does jack shiat really, it dont light up till its see's like 5 psi of oil pressure, and you know its to late by then.

they all leak sooner or later. i wasted my 12 bucks 3 times on them, they all leaked with in a month or so. so the hole got plugged. no more sensor.

I put a new one on my GTP, but after about 30 miles it started loosing oil again...., might need to try just plugging it.

I meant to ask does the computer give the OK to run if it sees no oil pressure signal?

the car dont care one bit, mines long gone for like 5 years now. plug just hangs there doing nothing. no dummy light from it.

i did install a real oil pressure gauge with the engine swap.

bring your oil pressure sensor into the hardware store. match it up. your looking for a npt thread too, means its tappered like the ops threads are.

put sealant on the threads then snug it up, dont drive it in to deep you can crack the housing.

if you get a real gauge it seems most the threads are smaller. so you need an adapter fitting like this.
