I just filled up thismorning and did not take notice...I know its a stupid rate...
Heres a pic (LINK) from the Petro-Canada website showing the price of gas breakdown.....note the tax's bracket size. Its depicted in the little gas can type thing on the top right side of the page.

What i don't get is why would some gas stations continue to sell 93 at 4.39 and the rest are within 5 cents of 3.80

Usually those stations that charge higher are in better neighborhoods or are right off the interstate by themselves.
Or they cater to customers that buy there out of habit, without looking at price.
