LOL I hear ya! That $55 I put in mine tap danced all over my ass. And then $20 today to hold us over till the master decides to pay us.
 
This next fillup shouldnt hurt as bad. I didn't do any extra running and only worked 5 days this week so I probably saved myself 100 miles or $18 in gas.
 


You think that's bad? My inspection is due end of April. Before I can get it inspected I need tires. That's an easy $400. I need to replace one of my TPMS when I do that so add another $35+ from Rock Auto. I also need to get my windshield replaced. Thats another $300. And then I need to pay the $20 for the inspection. I am going to have $750 tied up in keeping the car legal.

And on top of all that I am getting ready to move in a week or so.
 
4.17 for 93 here.....just filled up 63 bucks....this crap is killing me, we pay outrageous prices while oil companies post record setting profit

Jesus man...I'm sorry to hear that. I'm so ready to move to AR for that very reason. Over there you pay like $20-40 and all you have to do is go through a check system where they make sure you have headlights and brake lights that sort of thing.
Jeez. Sooo they check tires and all that crap? The only thing they check here is OBD.
annnd forgive my slowness but.TPMS?? tire pressure monitoring system?
 
Yep, one of the stems on one of my TPMS sensor cracked.

And yea, they check lights, tires, brakes, for play in suspension, exhaust leaks, etc. They check all that, but don't do emissions, which I am thankful for, because my Stealth would never pass that. LOL
 


ive never heard of such a vigorous inspection. people here are bltchin about the obd scans because of the price to repair it. i can only imagine there.. where do u live
 
Inspections in Delaware are easy. If everything works and the tires aren't bald you're good. Cost me $80.00 for two years tags on my '95 Lightning.
 
Southwest corner of PA. I am basically smack dab between Pittsburgh and Morgantown, WV, well a little closer to Morgantown.

Its a yearly safety inspection is all it is. I don't so much have a problem with it, I just don't like having to buy so much stuff at once. If it was just the windshield or just tires I could handle it. There have been years that I haven't had to buy a thing and passed without issue, then there are years where everything wears out at once and right before the inspection is due. LOL
 
does Pa have a state inspection, or do you have to go to a local garage to get it done?

here in jersey you can go to the state for a free inspection, ( 2 years stickers now) or pay at a local shop, the + side of the local shop is some can be bought, wink wink.
