• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

LED LCD Monitor.

Which pales in comparison to my late Samsung trinitron powered CRT...

Two horizontal dead spots of half a pixel was well worth the cost of that image...

Only reason I chose LCD over plasma is I've got a sunny room. I didn't want to look at myself all day long in my tv reflection

I'll make a quick detailed breakdown of your laptop:

Parts & Labor: $800
Alienware Name Brand: $1000

Laptops can be built, and if you're spending over a grand, you'd be so much better off to build one. And desktops you're always better off to build one hands down.

Just bought a nice built Dell 745 1TB HDD+8GB RAM+ 3.60Ghz Dual Core.

Projectors and shrouds:

My stock 06 decided to chip a piston mysteriously so I picked up a good used engine with only 12500 MI from the salvage yard around here.

Complete with supercharger and all I got it for 1400 cdn.

I bought mine like a year and half ago. Asus G73JH. 17.3" 1080p, i7 720qm, 4gb 1333, 2x500gb, ATI 5870. Now its got 8gb of 1333, and 1x80GB SSD+500gb. All for around $1700. I looked at building this, and still couldn't do it for this price.

That's a damn shame your touchpad is never gonna get an update or upgrade. With hp pulling outta the pc/tablet/webos game. LoL

That's a damn shame huh? I only paid $99 bucks for it AND is being picked up by several Android devs. Starting out with Gingerbread, then Honeycomb, then onto Ice Cream Sandwich. A beastly tablet for $99 bucks with Android to come.... damn shame huh?
