possible wheel bearing?

Ive got a noise emitting from the front end. When I swerve left its quiet when I swerve right its louder. Would it be the passenger side one?

I thought when u turned left weight went onto passenger side and off the drivers side but when u turn right weight goes on drivers side and off passenger

i'd put it on jackstands withe the wheels off the ground and have someone spin it up. slide under with an automotive stethoscope and listen to each wheel bearing. I've had a few that you're 100% sure its one side while driving and find its the other once its in the air. never hurts to double check... save having to buy a customer a new wheel bearing cause you screwed up.

Its way quicker to just grab the spring on the strut and feel for a vibration while spinning it, but either way works.

How difficult is it to replace a wheel bearing. I have decent mechanical skills, but would it be worth taking it to a shop to have one replaced?

Its pretty simple. Just make sure u brake the end nut on the CV half shaft loose either with an impact or while the wheel is still sitting on the ground. Other than that you'll save ur self a lot of money diy.
