possible turbo build



progression: I picked up a stattama turbo upper intake manifold because its a direct bolt on the the L67 lower intake manifold. I plan on using my air to water intercooler so I wanted an upper intake manifold that would bolt onto it. the L26, L36, F body, and holden upper intake manifolds all would have taken work to install. I also plan on cutting the intake tube off and rewelding it so it faces the driver side. the fabricator I'm working with said it will be a lot easier to modify one than to custom build a new one.
 
looking for some input, picked up a stattama upper intake manifold to mount on my phenolic air to water intercooler, and the intake faces the passenger side. my idea is instead of cutting the top part off and rewelding it so it faces the driver side, do you guys think the air lines would fit under the upper motor mounts. I would probably relocate the battery and maybe move the fuse block. the battery would likely need to be moved so there would be space for the tb and maf.
 
Why not sell the stattama unit and throw on a l26 manifold. All you would have to do is plug the extra injector holes...

Edit...or better yet ditch the water to air and get a big front mount

That stattama is worth more sold off and you using a stock oem L26/L36 upper and pocket the money off selling the Stattama........

SgtMarshall. I have a complete L26 Upper and Lower (minus fuel rail) that I would be interested in working a deal for that Stattama
 
HA! Nice try I already offered a L26 upper with tb adapter and HV insert forsale and he could and should resell the stattama instead of hacking it up.
