So I just wanted to get some input on this. Just bought the car yesterday and on the test drive I didn't notice anything. On the highway on the way home nothing either. When we got off the highway, I noticed from the front passenger side a sound.
So, the usual growling from a bad wheel bearing was not present. The sound is more like a metal rubbing metal sound. It reminds me of the sound of if you spin a skateboard wheel really fast with no load on it. The sound is somewhat intermittent. I haven't had it up on the jack to check for play yet but it's going to be a couple days before I can get to it probably so I thought I'd check with everyone here in the meantime.
