Positioning of Glasspack

Bedwards

New member
Hey guys. I have the SLP Power Flo cat-back exhaust with Speed Daddy headers, which I'm looking at adding a glasspack to (to reduce cabin drone). I got under the car, and it looks like I'm going to have to put the glasspack after the middle hangar section (where I circled in the picture below):

Will putting the glasspack this far back affect how much cabin drone it will reduce?

Can't see the picture since I'm at work...but as long as it is behind the catback flange...BEFORE the "Y" it'll be perfect.

I'd say horizontally... just kidding. I also just put one in my GTP and noticed that the resonator was only 2 1/4" and I thought it was 2 1/2" so we installed a 2 1/4" glass pack, is that right? any thoughts?

Stock piping is 2 1/4". The cat-back I have is 2 1/2" diameter.
