Ported Heads Turbo Setup?

ILoveAudi

I've been trying to layout the plans for my cheap turbo setup that I'm piecing together. I had a set of heads made up by iceman with plans of doing an intercooled, heads, s1x setup... but now that I'm planning on going to turbo, I was planning on doing a stock manifold setup in an effort to save money. My question is is it possible to run ported heads on stock manifolds? If not, is it possible to port the manifolds enough to make it work? Or could the rear manifold at least be ported enough and I could just run a front plog? Any input would be appreciated. The reason I'm trying to stay away from a front and rear plog setup is because of cost of them and also the extra cost of getting a crossover with a wastegate perch.
P.S. Heads are Josh's "stage 3" setup. They're pretty well ported.

are you planning on hitting a specific horsepower number and/or ET/trap speed? if not, sell the heads and run the stock heads. is this on a L67/L32 or L36/L26?

I don't have a specific power number, I just want to keep it mild, so I'm going to likely be running very low boost with it. This is on an l67 btw.

then just sell the heads and use that towards the turbo parts. see sig below. i ran stock motor with ZZP's Z7 kit. never blew a headgasket. it did chip #5 cyl but it was my fault cause i turned off my meth injection and it ran lean on part throttle in boost. ran plenty 15psi+ (partly cause i had a built trans back then) and never blew a HG.
