Poor handling on ice/snow

Hello

New to the forum, and to the grand prix. I just bought a 1999 gp gt with plans on doing a top swap. I thought a gp would be a good winter car (being fwd), but i have never had a car that was so unstable in the snow. The car drives straight on dry roads, but as soon as it hits snow, it starts to "slide" like a fishtail. It has newer michelin hydroedge tires, so i dont think its a tire problem. This happens even when driving slow (even at 25 kph). Any help would be appreciated.

hmm. I've haven't had a problem with mine this winter. It has newer toyo's. Maybe something is up with your suspension parts?

If you're trying to drive on CLEAN roads in the winter with anything but snow tires you're still going to slip, even with a 3.1.

A/S tires harden too much and you get no grip.

What kind of retarded question is that?

Pretty much all of canada gets some amount of snow at least once a year.

Thanks for the info! I just bought some cooper arctic claw tires and steel rims. When I removed my rear tires I noticed that there was a lot of wear on the inside edge of the tires. I guess I need an alignment. thanks again

thats a picture of the horse shoe falls. What about the american falls? which are not in Canada. :)

Sorry. I'm married to a Canadian, So all i ever hear is about the Niagra area, and.. how our beer sucks, and how people here are rude.

Your falls suck, beer in general sucks, and people in both canada and the states are rude.

Sorry guys... allow me to refraise, any beer that costs less than a dollar fifty a bottle sucks.

And yes, thats "in canadian" at "canadian prices." so don't freak out if your favourite brew doesnt make it.
