So I just got my car back from Big Worm after a cam install (about a week ago). On my way down M-99 I run across a brand new shiny black 2010 Mustang GT. I pass the guy for going so damn slow and it ticks him off. We both get caught at a light, and I know its on. I look over, and he's glaring at me. I'm cracking up inside, but I'm trying to keep a straight face. I know it's gonna really piss him off to find out his 30k investment is about to loose to a 1997 GP. The light turns green and he stomps it. (holy Sh!t those stangs launch well!!!) He jumps out about a car on me, and I reel him in within a few seconds. After my GTP switched to second, that cam went to work like it had a grudge against that stang. By about 90 I was already 2-3 lengths in front with a slow launch. Right as I let off, the guy hits his brakes and falls way behind. There was another light about 600 feet out, but the guy turned off!! WTF. I guess he was too embarrased to pull up next to me again. :th_nanana: Anyway, I'm glad to know my car runs at least a Low 13 seeing that the new gt's run 13.5-6. I can't wait to get to the track I'm hoping to see high 12's with a good launch.


Performance, Mods are: Open cone intake, ZZP Vs cam, XS Headers, 3 inch catless DP, 2.5 pipe in place of resonator, 180tstat, 104 plugs, Ls6 valve springs, 3.3 pulley, custom tuned by big worm. 160k miles stock tranny. :th_thumbsup-wink:

LMAO. He's tha man in Michgan. He installed my cam, headers, Springs, exhaust,Reflash and pulley In 2 days in his garage. (thats working a few hours on it each night after he gets off work) The man is a beast.
 
Hey man is your gp the 1 thats completely Orange thru the motor an alll?? Its this orange GTP on cardomain that has the whole entire car painted orange. Nice kill on the stang by the way.

no, that was a canadian dude. his engine bay was also chrome, but after a few runs at the track the car was completely demodded and sold. i know since i bought the 65# injectors off that car.

No I'm not him, but I know what you're talking about. His is sick lol. I think he has a tangerine one. Mine is like a coppery orange.

Damn that was a waste of money. On the other guys behalf i mean.. I like the color on yours too OrangeL67. Not a fan of orange in general but thats a nice tone on yours looks different.
 


Nice Kill. I remember when the new Model came out. The guy had a manual and was racing against me and i'd whoop him every time. Best time he got all night was 14.5xx He was pretty pissed cause he kept hitting the rev limiter. :th_shakinghead2: Super nice guy though and i thought he took his losses pretty well. :th_laugh-lol2:

Yeah check out streetfire.net and look for orangel67 or search orange gtp. I've got pics there. Thanks. I love the color of the car. I know it was a risky one, but what the hell. Came out lookin pretty good:th_thumbsup-wink:

Its all good man. I just need a better camera is all. Dont know why my cell pics look like that if u seen it in real life u can easily tell its black an red. Is that vid of snookie gettin hit real? Wonder how how they happen to have a camera behind the bar at the same time she was hit.
