Pontiac Guage Cluster Question

Are all Grand Prix gauge clusters interchangeable? My heater core pissed coolant all over me yesterday and since I'm removing the dash attempting to get to it figured I'd replace everything screwed up while I'm at it. I assume 97-03 interchange?
 


To my knowledge,they are interchangeable.There are differences tho.97's had unleaded fuel only written on the cluster and the fuel gauge has no pin to stop the needle from going past full.98's had the performance shift light operational in the cluster,not dic.Other years did not have perf.shift usable in the cluster,it was in the dic only.


Edit:also,the numbers and scaling are slightly different year to year.97's temp gauge starts at a lower temp etcetera,they will still read accurate tho.
 
Cool good to know. Mines the 98. Idiot drilled holes in spots to get idiots lights to not work. Fighting heater core then that's on my list for tomorrow. Thanks
