do we need a resistor kit for an 04 grand prix? If so which one on the site?

Yes, you can select it with these bulbs, there is only one resistor kit.

Are the 120smd led switchbacks that much brighter than the 60?

The 120smd has 2 times the amount of smds on the bulb so they are considerably brighter, yes.

Maybe. Do you know if the DIC bulbs are actual bulbs (if so what size?) or are they surface mount diodes(smd) soldered onto a board?

How much brighter are the 60smd compared to stock? Just ordered a set yesterday, I can still cancell and order the 120

The stage 1 switchbacks are about 50% brighter than stock. The stage two is about 125% brighter than stock. Before you cancel your current order, I should warn you that we are currently out of stock on the stage 2. You can still order them, but we won't be able to ship any out until we receive them from the manufacturer which may be 2 weeks away.

They are bulbs mounted in a holder, not sure of size. They mount on the circuit board.

i have an 07 gxp. would i most likely need a resistor kit if i wanted to put switchbacks in? which i resistor kit is basically so they don't flash really fast and they have normal flashing signals to them?

You are correct, The resistor kit will add resistance to the turn signal circuit preventing hyperblink. Let me know if you have anymore questions. I'll answer them as best as I can
