• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

polishing aluminum valve covers

No, never did. I kinda like the height of it. But if I was going to make some, it would be like 3 lifters in each corner welded together in a circle shape, with a threaded stud out the top, that would thread into a oil pan bolt hole. Got to keep the whole main N/A engine part theme together ya know. LOL

--heh yeah.

you need to post up pics of your cam lamp and the GP couch... the gp couch pics are broken over on the other forum

Haven't made the cam lamp's yet, but I do have the stock to make the billet bases. They are going to be trick looking. I'm making 6 lamps total. 4 for me, and the other two for sale, probably on Ebay or something.

gonna be a bit of machinin to put a hole thru the cam for the wiring, no? or are putting a few together so there is a viod in the middle?

Nope, no machining to the cam, other than a threaded hole at the top on the side, and a threaded sleeve inserted at the top where the cam bolt goes. The wiring will be on the outside, ran through a SS braided hose from top to base, with AN fittings on each end.

The base will be left nude machined aluminum, I'll probably polish it. Just debating what to do with the cam...either hard chrome it, or powder coat it a metallic silver to match the coffee table.
