The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.
im changin my plugs soon, and ive already established that i want 104's... but now i am torn between the regular auotlite 104's, and the autolite XP 104's?
which do you think is better?
its already established that straight copper plugs are what our engines like best, but they dont last long. so the iridium is supposed to find a "middle" and still get most of the advantages of copper yet more longetivity.
Get copper plugs. Get 605's. Run a gap of 45. Just tighten the plugs down. If you would actually torqu the plugs you would probably need a torque wrench that has inch pounds instead of FT. pounds.
I've never ran a .55 gap...not even now. To be honest i'm not sure what is oem specs but i don't belive it is .55. I could be wrong though... One time I was....just once though....lol
wELL IF YOUR NOT GOING TO GO TO A 3.4 OR 3.5 WITHIN 8000 MILES THEN JUST GO WITH THE 605'S TILL THEN. But yeah once drop to oneof those thats the plug you'll need.
yea... i plan on going down to a 3.4 hopefully within 8000 miles... all i really need is the powerlog, the 180 tstat n the plugs n i think i should be good enought for at least the 3.5", maybe even the 3.4 then im gonna scan her up
