• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Please help!

I have a 99 GTP. And it needs to be cranked several times before starting. I've taken it to a mechanic and it was pulling the P0401(EGR insufficient flow), P0405(EGR sensor A short), and P0650(malfunction indicator lamp) codes. I was told I need to replace the EGR (replaced this twice thinking the first one must have been faulty), Mass air flow sensor, and my PCM. All have been replaced and it's still pulling the same codes. Any ideas why it would pull all 3 of these codes?

Um just outta curiosity but did u have the codes CLEARED after u fixed the problem? Some codes need to be cleared by a scanner.

Ok, so yes it's still hard to start and when I bought the EGR valve it said disconnect the battery for 30 mins to clear the codes, which I did.

On the FPR, should fuel come out or should it be wet? And if that's my problem, what does that mean? How do I fix it?

You dont want fuel to come out or for it to be wet.

The regulator holds the pressure, with low pressure the car doesnt want to start with no fuel there.

SO if its bad, replace it.

not to sure but just thinking if you had your PCM replaced and it was from another year car could it be throwing codes? i dont know im kinda curious myself about if it would to.
