Dam, motor number 4? Lol.
Tdc, thanx again. Ill make sure I take this info to autozone and hope depot. I'm doing this this weekend/early next week. Ill let u know if I screw something up and have to buy motor number 2 lol. Thanx everyone for taking the time to answer the 200 questions I've asked on the same freggin subject. I know want to kno as much as I can about this stuff before I mess with it.

I take it bigger pipe means more air flow. That must be why you guys keep telling me to get the 4" instead of the 3"

Yup. That's it.

And I thought you were only on number 2.

Ummm...well lets see...

#1...My original one blew up thanks to ZZP.

#1 1/2...Brian put a good piston in instead of a motor and it spun another bearing (same block as the first one)...

#2...Drove great and I beat the crap out of it for well over a year. Injector and Lifter failed, valve hit the piston...and I have lots of pics, but #4 was destroyed.

#3...yup, three...I'm on the third one now :D

Bluegtp, that's crazy man. Geeze. Man if my motor blows I'm screwed!!! Ill have to sell my van to survive! And I am NOT trying to sell my g20. Screw that!! Are there any other mods I can do that aren't 2 expensive, and pretty easy to do? I don't want to do a ton of stuff, I just HATE a completely stock car!

I also noticed my trans slipping one day. I'm like, wup! Better take it easy on this car. But I get down on the freeway sometimes lol

Autolite 104 Spark Plugs, Powerlog Front Manifold, 3" Downpipe, 180* or 160* Thermostat, Tuned PCM, 3.6" Supercharger Pulley. All very easy to do and cost you maybe $500. AND...it'll be a whole nother machine ;)

Ok, I think I can swing that. Maybe in 6 months or so I should be done with all that stuff. You must have done a lot of stuff to your car. If you don't mind me asking, how much hp and torque have u got that car up to? Hope u don't mind me asking.

I don't care that you ask...I'd honestly like to know how much HP I am making...maybe close to 300 whp but I doubt it...

Blue, just checked out that link. I was non there for a while. Wow man, u really know ur way around a car. Most def gotta make sure I stay on ur good side. And that mustang story was funny as hell lolol. I told my wife I want to get a G8 whenever we can, and keep the gtp to mod the shhhhh out of it. She doesn't care, she's like whatever!! Lol. I'm starting off with the home intake until I can get the one from tdc, as it comes along ill keep u posted. I'm going to paint it black and clean up under the hood. Can't wait!

these cars arent all that hard to work on. i can have the motor out of the car, worked on, and back in within a days work. just did a tranny swap the a couple weeks ago two. that took me 6 hours with not working that hard.

I've worked on older cars like, 84 caprice, 89 caprice,62 chevy truck, stuff like that. Newer cars just scare me becuz there is soo much more stuff in them. More sensors, computers and all that stuff. I mean people say a car is a car, a motor is a motor, but geeze it seems so different.

Ok, I might have to go with a sri for about a week until I get the tubing for the fwi, in the mean time what do I do with this dam breather tube?
