• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Plastidip'd the front fascia

sometimes there is it will lift if there is no gap to break the plasti dip. In this case you could carefully use a razor.

Say you wanted to do someting stupid like plastidip stripes on your hood. If there is no gap you can achieve straight lines by taping off the area where you want the straight line. Then spray ONE heavy coat close to the tape, then peel the tape off asap before the Pdip starts to dry.

If the plasti dip drys the tape will lift it up.

Yeah, if you plan on doing it while it's still cold keep in mind it sticks well in the cold, just get the can as warm as possible before you spray and between coats. It globbed up pretty bad on the first coat before I warmed up the can, but everything after that went very well...

I did 4 coats, the 4th being extra heavy just to finish off the can. The more coats you add, the easier it will peel later if you change your mind

I had my front and rear fascias actually painted at the body shop.

Looks nice, Mine are painted too, but they're painted Silver to match the car, like yours. I wanted to break up the color, I like it so much I'm pretty sure I'm going to paint mine too, but black

I've been wanting to do this for a while now, I'm just not sure how the edges will hold up when I pressure wash my car. Anyone know if it will start to peel from the edges?

Did this to my car this Sunday. Looks really nice except the part I messed up on because it was really windy. Thanks again for the tips.
