thats pretty cool.

ive only done a set of winter wheels. as far as im willing to go with it. truth is i did them in black and its to much black for me. and i want to rip it off and paint them al, or silver. the car wash took the dip off one wheel for me, so i got a head start on one.

I was scared of the car wash doing that with mine.. Did u run it through an automatic or a self service one?

it was a auto car was, hanging rags and brushes and all, full blown touch wash. it was the water jets that rinse it down. ive never seen these before, but it was like 8 high pressure jets spinning on a wheel. sounded like it was taking the paint off the car. when i got home i noticed the lip had been torn up some.

this was a first time at this car wash, the cheap 5 dollar one i used to go to in the winter got sold and the price doubled. this one is still very local, like 300 foot away from the old one. and only costs 5 bucks still.

i only do car washes in the winter time. rest of the year i hand wash it weekly. it only got the one car wash this winter, so its over due for another wash bad.

Lol wow.. That sounds serious!

in all reality, the car was super clean when done. its was pretty much a white car when i drove up to the car wash. lots of road salt was used.

I did my stock rims black and they look great! also for the taillights i recommend vht nightshade although i like the plastidip job

Just my 2 cents, my wheels have been dipped black for 3.5 years, and once a week car washes haven't bothered them. The only time I had to do touch ups was when putting new tires on cause that destroys the dip on the lip.

Did matte black dip on the body 5 years ago and did the wheels in anthracite w/glossifier last year.
