Plastic gas tank in a 99 grand prix?

Hey guys my gas tank started leaking really bad in my 99 gtx , anyways im wondering if anyone has put in a plastic tank from a 2001 + chevy monte or impala, i assume it should work , but im wondering if anyone has any personal experience with this.

EDIT - Ok i just saw the post on upgrading to the plastic tank, after i looked . grrr. anyways is there a way to do it using my factory fuel pump and charcol canister, and all that stuff, and just use the tank, because the gtp fuel pump is specific for the supercharged engine and hard to find in a plastic tank.
 


There's plenty of top swapped guys out there running stock pumps too. I don't think you'd have any issue. If you're concerned I would pick up a fuel pump rewire while you're at it
