Yeah I don't want it smoother. The whole point of dipping my rims was to hide the flaws. As soon as Rustoeum edges out Plasti-Dip, they will probably jack the prices up.
 
Yeah, I specifically said that Home Depot was discontinuing Plasti-Dip and replacing it with Rust-Oleum but I also said that you can still get it from Amazon, most other retail stores, and of course DipYourCar.com.....I think I did mention that for all the Home Depot shoppers(ME). But I will be at Lowes from now on until Rust-Oleum makes some more colors.
 
Here's the one on my LS, its old and I did it a while back so it looks a lot better without the camera exposing the chrome imperfections but it still looks ok. I left the Chrome alone and dipped the grille fins matte black

im a fan of less is more most of the time. i keep thinking i want a grill with chrome around it, but then its missing the rest of the LS chrome.

ill take a set of Buick block letters in chrome for the back bumper asap tho.
 


Weird bc my GS has them but my LS doesn't. I believe PFYC.com sells the chrome letters I just haven't gotten them yet for the LS
 
maybe your got added? or mine got stolen lol who knows right. smoked chrome may look better on my black car tho. i can fix that lol
 
Funny, plati-dip has a smoked color also. It's like a smoked clear, removable so I wouldn't mind trying it out
