Pitted Rims

O.K. Need some advise: 2005 Grand Prix GT...Very clean, except it appears I have some pitting occuring on 2 rims. A) is this typical(yes, I drive it in the winter) B) Other than New OEM wheels at $240.00 each, is there a more economical way to keep it original and clean?

Its normal. Have them sandblasted and powdercoated to stop this from happening.

Thanks....what kinda costs are we talking, and then I would get them chromed?

Powdercoat is paint. It should be around $200 to have 4 wheels blasted and coated
