• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Okay, so it's been an excellent car. Got over 200 k miles. But I have a vibration I been working on for over 3 months. Replace tires, 2 rims, wheel bearings, both cv joints, both outer tie rods, and got an alignment. It's still vibrating. Any ideas before I drive the thing off a cliff!!??

I just got the 2 top motor mounts replaced and that stopped a lot of the shaking in my engine. Now I'm just trying to figure out where the lower mount is and replace that. Hopefully that will stop all my engine shaking. Def something you should look into doing. btw motor mounts were I am are a dealer only part. So hit up some junk yards. I got some nice ones for 40 a piece for the top ones. And most junk yards will have them because they same type of motor mounts where used on quite a few different types of cars. =]

Remove both of the front wheels...that is where the motor mount (passenger side) and transmission mount (drivers side) will be at.

My vibration was when I had my foot on the gas. Let off and it would go away. Changed out LCA's and it has been fine.

Mine is doing the exact same thing. Its shakes from like 35mph to 45 and then again around 75. Its in the shop right now getting the axles looked at.

:th_popcorn:

Badly balanced tires will cause vibrations too. I'd definitely look at the motor and trans mount though. A broken one could cause quite a vibration.
