The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.
we do have a pic area, its in the members garage. I would encorage people to post the pictures of their cars there. Its really hard to make a designated picture area, since there are so many area's in the forum....SyntheticShield posted up pics of his broken diff, and then we have pics in the how to section.....if we had one area, all the posts with pics could technically be in 2 different areas and that makes for a Admin/Mod nightmare.
it does, the issue is all these people with car pics in every section, and I have had bad experiences with members garages on other sites (seems to be the most broken part of the software) Broken parts are different than, hey I just washed it and it looks good type things.
Got cha.....I think that would be a good idea in the appearance section.....lets try this...make a post in the appearance section for posting your car pics...If it goes over well, I will make a section and move the posts.
Thanks for the input, just need to see how many will post. We are trying to weed out the unused topics and add ones that will be used, all while keeping the board manageable.
I would put pics in my garage, but it has never let me put any pics in my garage at all. It says I updated it, but no pics there still.
Also, is it really necessary to have your posts time out where you can no longer edit your old posts? I hate that feature!! It makes write-ups and for sale posts useless if I can't go back and update them. Makes for alot of unnecessary double posts/reposts to do the same thing and looks sloppy. Thanks
