The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.
statistically you'd hope that by the time you graduated in an EE program that the economy would be back up. however, if you're graduating now you're kinda screwed.
The Pipe trades have taken care of me pretty well(im a union fire sprinkler fitter) After teh apprenticeship, depending on your location you will make between 30 and 40 bucks an hour PLUS medical, an annuity and a pension..

For me, Im going into the welding trade. I'll probably start of with production welding for a year or so (very boring and alot less pay). Then I plan on getting into the fabrication field. My ultimate goal would be bridge work or ship building withing the next 10-15 yrs. and eventually become a CWI.
Welding is one of those careers where you can make 20k a year (bottomeline production) or you can make 120k+ a year (I'm sure you can make ALOT more with underwater welding etc.). Just depends on what you want to do with it.
