Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

picked up new car/got ?'s

its up to you really. my car ran pretty well even with burnt valve seats, but if youre down that far its not too much more work to just take 'em off and clean.

Does anyone have a pic of stock valvesrings and retainers, mine has springs with a whitestripe, and wondering if these are stock or not

if they have a stripe on them they are probably not stock. the stock ones dont come with any paint on them at all.

ya thats what i figured i know the comp 918's usually have a blue stripe, i did a seafoam experiment over the weekend and some smoke was billowing out, i ran just about the whole bottle through the vacuum line lol

gonna test those front cyliders again and see if it did anything

i took off the blower, swapped the lifters and measured the lift on the int and exh valves

i measured .475 lift exh valve and .510 lift on the intake valve
are these stock numbers

also here are some pics i took of the rockers and springs, can u tell me if they look stock, the valve seals are like a lime green in color

the only guy ive seen run a 3" pulley safely lived in colorado at 1.5 miles above sea level.
how about a shot of the underside of the rockers?

do the springs and retainers look stock and the valve seals, my springs have a white stripe on them
so my cam measurements are .296 .318 if you divide the numbers by 1.6, i cant find a cam with those specs on the cam spec list

i replaced lifters, installed a zzp 3.4 pulley, ported blower outlet and inlet, removed the bridge under the blower and cut the top opening of the lim to match

I still have the noise from my engine at idle, so i guess it wasn't the lifters and i could have sworn the noise was from the lifters, not sure where the noise is comin from now..

however, i did some datalogging and now I am making 8psi boost at WOT and for some reason at 108mph the boost droped down to 4psi and stayed there

Thanks lol, still figuring out how to use photobucket, so wut u think it is, the noise goes away when revved above 1500rpms, and i i did a oil change about 500 miles ago and it was black but no metal, and i cut open the filter and no material as well, and i just pt new oil in yeterday since i did the lifters and it was clean, no material..
I inspected the flexplate today and didnt see any cracks and converterbolts were tight

The noise is louder under the car

Nice Camaro :P

do you not have a mechanics stethoscope to help pinpoint more of where the sound is emanating from? It seemed to be loudest at the headers and under the car, prolly where the downpipe was, but other than saying it sounds like its in the lower end, I couldn't tell a whole lot.

I can say it doesn't sound as bad as mine did when it spun the bearing on the crank for cyl#1. That was just nasty sounding, like a 3.8L gas powered deisel :th_laugh-lol2: Yours isn't that sound, but I couldn't even guess as to what it could be

thanks, ya thats the real money pit lol

This is runnin me in circles lol, i used a stethoscope and i have touched everywhere on the motor and from front to back, side to side the noise doesnt really stand out, i can kinda hear it alittle louder when i touch the scope to where the oil pan meets the block, but its not anylouder on any specific cylinder, and its def not comin from the header primaries, i can here it from under the manifold by ear but stethoscope cant tell where its coming from...

Ive spun a bearing in a previous car and i doesnt sonund lke that, and like i said there is no bearing material in filer or oil

The only thing left i can think of is maybe a wrist pin
